District Level Science Quiz

A district level science quiz competition was organized at the Government Girls College in Sector 18 of the city. 12 teams from a total of 7 colleges of the district participated in this district level competition organized under the aegis of Haryana State Science and Technology Council, Haryana.
Apart from the two teams of the host college, two teams from Ahir Mahavidyalaya Rewari, two teams from Government Mahavidyalaya Kharkhoda, two teams from KLP Mahavidyalaya Rewari, two teams from Government Women Mahavidyalaya Gurawara and one team each from Government Mahavidyalaya Bawal and Government Women Mahavidyalaya participated. While presiding over the programme, the college principal Dr. Jyoti Yadav encouraged the girl students to take part in such competitions.
She motivated them to participate and said that when we go from our college to some other college or institution, we definitely expand our knowledge and develop new dimensions of personality. Program coordinator Sunil told that in this district level science quiz, first a screening test was conducted, in which a total of 8 teams were selected out of 12 teams. The screening test was organized by the team of Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Jayshree and Dr. Yogesh. These eight teams participated in the main stage, in which Assistant Professor of Chemistry Department Dr. Jyoti played the role of quiz master. Dr. Rajni, Vandana, Manju, Mausam, Poonam, Mintu, Anupama, Varsha, Deepika, Manisha, Neeru, Prakriti, Anjali and Hansraj along with other staff members played an important role in making the program successful.
