A one day NSS camp

A one day NSS camp was organized by both the units of National Service Scheme on 29th August at first lady teacher Mata Savitribai Phule Government Girls College, Rewari. The camp was inaugurated by college principal Dr. Jyoti Yadav by showing green flag. Newly appointed principal Shri Satyendra Singh also encouraged the girl students. NSS program officer Dr. Swati and Dr. Rajni gave three shillongs to all the volunteers.
By dividing into groups, a cleanliness drive and tree plantation drive was carried out in the college.
The first team cleaned the outer courtyard of the college, the second team cleaned the college park and the third team cleaned the botanical garden of the college and made the ponds around the trees.
Its purpose was to conserve rainwater. All the volunteers took an oath to keep the college clean and take care of the plants. Thereafter, the college principal Dr. Jyoti Yadav and the NSS team planted Ashoka trees in the college.
